Show Some Summer Skin

When the heat turns up outside, nothing is comfier than a sleeveless top to keep you cool!

Get your skin ready for a sleeveless summer with these tips.

Backne Be Gone
Back and shoulder acne can be more stubborn to tame than pimples on your face. Try using a wash containing benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid to clear up backne breakouts. If your breakouts persist, you may need to ask your doctor for a prescription for a topical antibiotic.

Keratosis Pilaris Disappear!
It may sound like a spell from Harry Potter, but Keratosis Pilaris refers to the unsightly red bumps that are commonly found on the back of the upper arms. These bumps are caused by clogged hair follicles. Use an exfoliating scrub or lotion containing salicylic, lactic or glycolic acid. Using the Clarisonic with its Body Brush attachment is also a great tool for battling the bumps.

Manage Tinnea Versicolor
(Where do these things get their names???)
Tinnea Versicolor refers to white-to-pink or tan-to-dark scaly patches often caused by an overgrowth of the yeast that normally lives in your pores. These marks may become more prominent when you have a tan. Use an over-the-counter antifungal soap containing pyrithione zinc. And don’t forget your sunscreen!
